The Movement Concert Live at Variety Playhouse | Atlanta – March 12th, 2027

The Variety Playhouse in Atlanta is one of those gems that just feels special from the moment you step inside. Opened back in the 1940s as a cinema, it’s gone through quite the transformation but still retains that vintage charm, now hosting an incredible mix of live music that keeps local crowds buzzing. Its legendary acoustics really do make every note pop, whether it's an up-and-coming band or a seasoned act like The War on Drugs who played a sold-out show there not too long ago. The vibe is warm and inviting, with friendly staff, a solid drink menu, and tasty food options that make sticking around after the opening act easy. Plus, the side sections give a more intimate, local feel, perfect for catching bands that are just starting to make waves. Getting there is part of the fun too, especially if you take a leisurely drive down the BeltLine towards Moreland Road, where you can pop into some cool shops and cozy coffee spots before the show. For anyone who loves a good concert with a touch of history and local flavor, The Movement Atlanta and Variety Playhouse are a match made in music heaven.
